2nd Friday Experience
Yoga Nidra with Shannon Miller
Friday, June 8, 7:00-8:30 pm
 
Simply the most deliciously mindful power nap you will ever take. The practice of Yoga Nidra- Transformational Sleep is intended to induce full body relaxation, healing and a deep meditative state of consciousness. A brief introduction and explanation will be given at the beginning of the session. Then lying on the floor, resting in Savasana, this guided meditation will systematically take you through the 5 levels of body, breath, emotions, mind and spirit. A short sound bath using Tibetan and Quartz Crystal bowls will complete the practice.
 
No previous Yoga or Meditation experience required. Only the desire to relax, restore and heal.
   
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring socks and a sweater, blanket, pillow, pen and a yoga mat (if you have one) and an unscented eye pillow (if wanted).
