Sanctuary Lotus

Unity of Wilmington has rental opportunities for many functions, classes, workshops, celebration of life events and organization meetings.

We are open and inclusive, although we reserve the right to refuse any rentals we deem contrary to Unity principles. Our facility is handicapped accessible and is a non-smoking facility.

Review our guidelines below then complete and submit the form below.

  • When scheduling an activity, please fill out Event Request form. Once approved, the event will be placed on the Church calendar. If a scheduled activity is cancelled notify the Church office immediately.
  • No alcohol may be served in church facilities.
  • No smoking.
  • Groups are restricted to only those areas of the facility that the group has reserved.
  • Church equipment, such as table and chairs must be returned to original placement, unless arranged otherwise prior to the event.
  • All lights must be turned off and doors locked upon departure.
  • Abusive or foul language, violent behavior, and drug or alcohol abuse are strictly prohibited while using church facilities. Any person exhibiting such behavior will be required to leave the premises.
  • No food or drink may be served in the sanctuary.
  • Any group using the kitchen is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and returning all equipment to its proper place.

The person/organization requesting the use of Church facilities hereby absolves the church, its pastors, leadership, members, or people of any liability for personal injury to any individual resulting from the use of the church facilities and agrees to be responsible for any property damage that results during the use of the facilities. Please report any damage to the church office promptly.

One Time Event or Regularly Scheduled Groups ~ Personal Use/For Profit

Sanctuary ~ (for members) $125/ hr. with a min. 2 hours (Sunday use after 2:00 pm only) ( for non-members) $150/ hr. with a min. of 2 hours. Individual hours can be added. Additional charge $100/ hr (up to 2 hours) for a sound technician. (seats 150)

Community Room ~ ( for members) $30/ hr. with a min. 2 hours (for non-members) $35/ hr. with a min. 2 hours. Individual hours can be added. This includes use of the AV screen and small kitchen. Fold up tables also available. (seats 80) 

The Parlor ~ (for members) $25/ hr. with a min. of 2 hours. (for non-members) $30 hr. with a min. of 2 hours. Individual hours can be added. Fold up tables available. (seats 25 - 30 depending on set up)

Fellowship related/Church Event
Community Room, The Parlor or Sanctuary ~ Love Offering or Donation with previous approval with the ministers.
